Why does the tinyWASH require fresh water during the drying process?

During drying, the 1,000-watt heater continuously blows hot air into the drum to dry the laundry. The heat supplied to the machine and the resulting moisture from the laundry must also be expelled from the machine and the vehicle. Due to the compact size, there is no space for a heat pump in the machine, and venting the heat outside through an exhaust hose is not feasible for most vehicles (and boats). Therefore, the heat must be dissipated in another way.

The built-in condenser dryer needs to be cooled with water. This ensures that the machine remains only slightly warm to the touch during the drying process, and no moisture escapes into the vehicle.
