Why can't I open the washing machine door immediately after the drying process is finished?

The tinyWASH monitors the temperature inside the machine. When the drying cycle is complete, the machine cools down for up to 10 minutes before the door is released.

When the drying process is complete, the washing machine needs to cool down before the door can be safely opened. The machine and the laundry inside may still be very hot, and the cooling period is necessary to prevent burns or injuries. Additionally, the machine uses this time to ensure that all moisture has been properly expelled and that the laundry has settled. This safety feature ensures that you can handle the laundry comfortably and safely once the door unlocks.
